2018

2018 was a very full year. Jill and Phil decided to rebuild their house from the chimneys down and the builders only left the day after their next really big event – the birth of their baby, Grace Isobel, on the 3rd of October. Meanwhile Lynn Paul and Tom are still ensconced in Upavon on the edge of Salisbury Plain – but are expecting to move again in 2019. Ann and Ian potter along in Uxbridge, but managed to clock up 8 foreign holidays, starting with Valencia in February and ending with the usual Hamburg trip in December. Other highlights included Phil’s mother, Heather, coming over from Australia for November to see Grace. Sadly Jill & Phil said goodbye to Quita, but two lovely rescue kittens, George and Queenie joined joined the family. This year it was not possible to get everyone together for a Christmas Photo, Paul’s military duties are pretty onerous and Grace is not yet ready for travel, so this year we had to rely on little vignettes.
